I am pleased to announce that {CI} and [/wrists] have joined together, and they will be part of our community. For those of you that do not know, [/wrists] is primarily a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PC group. There are about 10 consistent members, and all the people are great players that know how to have fun and socialize at the same time. Check out the group more in the forums. |

IW is leaving PC gamers to favor console gamers. It's ironic because IW was only made famous by PC gamers.
Announced changes
- No dedicated servers
- Smaller, console-sized multiplayer games (so about 15 players max?)
- No mod tools
- You have to pay for DLC (custom maps, etc.)
Amazon lost over $1,000 in pre-order because of this. At first the $60 PC price tag looked worthwhile, now, not so much. However, I still plan to get it for its great singleplayer, and its great co-op missions, which is a whole separate entity from singleplayer.
However, there is an online petition you can sign for the dedicated servers. Over 15k signatures, and more. Please sign it. IW would fail to not look at the magnitude of the heat they are getting. Too bad there isn't one that I know of that petitions for bigger server sizes.

And to prove I signed it, look at signature 2628. :) |

Our Ventrilo hosting company has been getting DDoS attacks all morning, so our Ventrilo server is shut down until further notice.
Quote from our provider: "Our uplink providers are working on mitigating the attack. Once it subsides, service will resume as normal." |
